Student of the Week
Elementary Students
Gilmour Rajala was last week’s student of the
week. Gilmour is a 2nd grade student at Forest
Park. She is the daughter of Jennifer and
Derek Rajala of Crystal Falls. Her upbeat
demeanor and kind disposition are inspiring and
exemplify Trojan Power. She is quick to volunteer to help
or contribute to classroom discussions or projects. She is
very motivated, hard working, and a dedicated learner.

Mason Beck is a 4th grade student at Forest
Park. Mason is the son of Kristin Beck and
Michael Valesano. Mason has improved this
year both academically and socially. He has
really put effort this last semester to learn multiplication.
He is always prepared and ready to learn in class. Mason
leads by example every day. We are proud of the Trojan
POWER that Mason shows in all areas of the school.
Keep up the great work Mason!
Samuel Smith is a 3rd grade student at Forest
Park. He is the son of Wendi and Edward
Smith of Crystal Falls. Samuel has put forth a
lot of effort in third grade. He works hard in
class and is proud of his accomplishments. Samuel is a
student we can count on. He knows all of the classroom
routines and expectations. Samuel is willing to help
others whenever he can and we are so proud of the
progress he has made this year.
Lydia Brzoznowski is a fifth grade student at
Forest Park. She is the daughter of Mike and
Gail Brzoznowski. Lydia comes to school every
day with a sparkle in her eye. She is
dependable and follows through on her assignments.
Lydia continuously looks for ways to be helpful in the
classroom. She shows respect for her teachers and
peers. Lydia sets an example of excellence in behavior
and cooperation. Keep up the great work Lydia.
Vera Anderson is a kindergarten student at
Forest Park. She is the daughter of Kurt and
Lindsey Anderson of Crystal Falls. Vera comes
to school everyday with a positive attitude. She
is always enthusiastic about learning and helping others.
Vera shows Trojan POWER on a daily basis. She is
always eager to help clean up whatever is necessary.
Vera is a friend to all of her peers and a good role model
for the classroom. Keep up the Trojan Power Vera!
Ellanor Stephenson is a 1st grade student at
Forest Park. She is the daughter of Rachel
Evert of Crystal Falls. Ellanor was a top choice
by both her teacher and classmates for student
of the week. Ellanor has a very bubbly and spunky
personality. She strives to be helpful, frequently asking
"What can I do next?". She helps with everything from
running to the office for her teacher, to organizing our
classroom, to helping her classmates make sure they
keep their desks organized. Ellanor works hard all day
long. She works extra hard during read to self, with a
goal of reading an Amelia Bedelia chapter book all by
herself! Keep up the good work, Ellanor!
Nolan Perry is a 2nd grade student at Forest
Park. He is the son of Brian Perry and Jessica
Perry of Crystal Falls. Nolan is a kind student
who loves learning and is helpful to everyone
around him. Nolan shows his Trojan Power everywhere
in the school and is a great role model for his classmates
and other students. Nolan is a student that others want to
always be around. Keep up the Trojan Power Nolan!
Ruby Koeberl is a 3rd grade student at Forest
Park. She is the daughter of Chad and Corina
Koeberl of Amasa. Ruby is a prime example of
a Trojan POWER student. She shows these
qualities consistently without missing a beat. She is
always doing the right thing, and is a positive role-model
to her peers as her peaceful, yet hardy, demeanor is
contagious! One of her academic strengths as a 3rd
grader shows colorfully through her writing abilities and
skills. Keep being a positive aspect to Forest Park Ruby!
Oliver Henkelman is a 5th grade student at
Forest Park. He is the son of Matthew
Henkelman and Angela Brown of Crystal Falls.
Oliver has been chosen as the student of the
week because he is always a very well behaved student
who is easy to work with and is kind to all of his
classmates. Oliver shows Trojan Power even when
others are not watching. Everyone enjoys having Oliver
in class and in school. He is respectful and respected.

Taylor Coonrod is a 1st grade student at Forest
Park. She is the daughter of Mike and Angela
Coonrod of Crystal Falls. Taylor ALWAYS gives
her best! She is very conscientious about every
single thing she produces. Her writing is neat, and she is
thorough. She is kind to all and is ready to help others in
every situation. She is the perfect example of a true
POWER student. Keep up the great work Taylor!
Cruz Santilli is a 2nd grade student at Forest
Park. He is the son of Scott and Kristina Santilli
of Crystal Falls. Cruz is always motivated to do
his best in school by completing all of his work,
participating in discussion, and actively learning
throughout the day. He is a good friend to his peers with
an upbeat personality and kind, positive demeanor
showing true Trojan Power. He has amazing school
pride! Congratulations Cruz for being our Power student
of the week!
Mackenzie Kruegar is a 3rd grade student at
Forest Park. She is the daughter of Andrew
and Amanda Krueger of Crystal Falls.
Mackenzie was a top pick for student of the
week because she truly is a power student and a leader
in class. She has a winning attitude in all she does. We
especially appreciate Mackenzie’s love for learning. She
is passionate about science and eagerly shares her
knowledge with others. Mackenzie brings positivity to our
school every day. Keep up the great work!
Macee Gasperini is a 4th grade student at
Forest Park. She is the daughter of Frank
Gasperini of Iron Mountain and Samantha
Bossenberger of Crystal Falls. Macee always
displays Trojan Power in every area of the school. She is
kind, caring and continuously has a positive attitude.
Macee is a true friend and a dependable student that
everyone appreciates being around. Keep up the great
work Macee!
Gavin Winger is a 5th grade student at Forest
Park. He is the son of Adam and Carol Winger
of Alpha, Michigan. Gavin works hard and
always tries his best. He is kind and respectful
to adults and his peers. He is always willing to help and is
a joy to be around. Keep up the great work Gavin.
Vivian Simbob is a Kindergarten student at
Forest Park. Vivian is the daughter of Jenna
and Nick Simbob of Crystal Falls. Vivian is a
sweet and kind-hearted little girl. She is always
ready to learn and try her best on all of her work. Vivian
can frequently be seen helping out her classmates. She
shows initiative by doing classroom tasks without being
asked. We are so thankful to have Vivian in our school
showing Trojan Power!
Grayson Stewart is a first grade student at
Forest Park. He is the son of Taylor Stewart
and Chase Isham of Crystal Falls. Grayson is
consistently ready to learn and willing to help
others. No matter where Grayson is in the building, he is
using Trojan POWER! Grayson is always doing his
absolute best work. His positive attitude and
determination set a great example for other students in
the classroom! Other students in the class would
describe Grayson as someone who always follows
directions and is kind to everyone.
Maradee Simbob is a 2nd grade student at
Forest Park. She is the daughter of Nick and
Jenna Simbob of Crystal Falls. Maradee is a
hard worker, loves to help her teacher and
classmates, and is ALWAYS showing Trojan Power. She
is a role model for the other students in the classroom, in
the hallways, in the cafeteria, and on the playground.
Keep up the Trojan pride, organization, winning attitutde,
effort and respect Maradee!
Isabella Aho is a 3rd grade student at Forest
Park. She is the daughter of Ryan and Jessica
Aho of Crystal Falls. Isabella is a true POWER
student. Her kindness can be seen wherever
she goes. She consistently follows school and classroom
rules/expectations. Isabella strives to do her best on all
her schoolwork and is determined to learn as much as
possible. She doesn't miss a beat when it comes to her
learning. Keep up the great work ethic, Isabella!
Sofia Martin is a 4th grader at Forest Park. She
is the daughter of Shawn and Nicole Martin of
Crystal Falls. Sofia shows Trojan Power by
participating in class and helping others. She
has a positive attitude and has been working hard to
become a kind friend to everyone. Sofia puts forth effort
everyday to learn new topics and applies what she has
learned in her school work along with being a Trojan
Power student. We are proud of the progress Sofia has
made. Keep up that Trojan Power Sofia!
Jaxson Carollo is a 5th grade student at Forest
Park. He is the son of Jamie and Brian Carollo
of Crystal Falls. Jaxson is a cooperative and
friendly student. He is focused on learning and
is always willing to help a fellow classmate. Jaxson has
been a model student since PreK and shows Trojan
POWER in every area of the school. Keep up the great
work Jaxson as you continue to be a role model as one
of the 5th grade leaders in the elementary.
